Brief Introduction
Mui Wo, a town located in southeast Lantau Island and nearest to Hong Kong Island, had been inhabited by peasants from the Ming Dynasty of the 16th century, and had 6 villages in the 19th century. The villagers lived by mining in early times, where there are plenty of places of interest and fascinating sceneries.
