Ma Shi Chau Special Area

Ma Shi Chau Special Area

The Ma Shi Chau Special Area - Ma Shi Chau Special Area comprises 4 islands in Tolo Harbour, namely, Ma Shi Chau, Centre Island (also known as A Chau), Yeung Chau and an unnamed island where you can see the wordless records of how time has altered the face of the Mother Nature. The Ma Shi Chau Nature Trail aids your understanding for the geology of the area by providing on-site interpretation signs. Other than geological features, you may encounter fossils of ancient ammonites, bivalves, brachiopods, corals, moss animals, sea-lilies and plants.

Before you leave, please remember not to take any rocks or minerals from this special area but to take all litter away with you.
